Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.
About these terms
By accessing this website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit an order.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tackle World Canberra. “You” and “your” refer to the website visitor or customer.
Products
We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, specifications, images, availability and other website information accurate. Colours, packaging and appearance may vary because of screen settings, manufacturer changes or photographic conditions.
Products are subject to availability. Displaying a product online does not guarantee that it is currently in stock or available in the quantity requested. We may apply reasonable purchase limits.
Prices
Unless stated otherwise, website prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are displayed during checkout or communicated before dispatch.
We may change prices and promotions at any time before an order is accepted. If a price, description, discount or availability is materially incorrect because of an obvious website, data-entry or system error, we may contact you to confirm the correct details or cancel the affected item and provide a refund.
Promotional offers may have separate conditions, eligibility requirements and end dates. Unless expressly stated, offers cannot be combined.
Placing an order
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products under these terms. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we received the order; it does not by itself mean that we have accepted it.
We may verify payment, stock, delivery details and eligibility before accepting an order. A sales contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example:
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Payment
You authorise us and our payment providers to process the amount shown at checkout. Available payment methods are displayed when you order and may change from time to time.
You must be authorised to use the selected payment method. We may delay acceptance or dispatch while payment or transaction checks are completed. Payment-provider terms may also apply.
Delivery
Shipping eligibility, charges, delivery estimates, tracking, large-parcel rules and remote-area conditions are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please inspect your parcel after delivery and contact us promptly if it is damaged, incomplete or appears to be missing.
Collection
If Click & Collect is available, please wait until we notify you that the order is ready before visiting the store. We may request the order confirmation, identification and proof that you are authorised to collect the order.
Collection availability and timing may vary. Payment restrictions or additional verification may apply to some orders.
Changes and cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to assist, but cannot guarantee a change or cancellation after processing or dispatch has begun.
If an order has already been dispatched, it may need to be handled as a return. Shipping charges and return conditions may apply unless the goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
Returns
Our voluntary change-of-mind conditions, return procedure, refund processing and warranty information are set out in our Returns Policy.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation where a product or service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to—not instead of—your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Restricted products
Some products, including certain knives or other restricted goods, may be subject to age, identity, delivery or location-based restrictions. By ordering such a product, you confirm that you are legally permitted to purchase and possess it.
We may request suitable identification, restrict available delivery methods or refuse a sale where required by law or where verification cannot be completed. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your purchase, possession and use of a product.
Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless caused by our failure to take reasonable care.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate misuse, meet legal obligations or enforce these terms.
Acceptable use
You must not use the website unlawfully or in a way that disrupts, damages or interferes with its operation or another person's use. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, misuse promotions, submit false information or use the website for fraudulent activity.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business, customers or service providers.
Website content
Unless otherwise stated, website content—including text, graphics, photographs, logos, page designs and software—is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial shopping use. You must not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit website content without permission from the relevant rights holder.
Third parties
The website may include links, widgets, payment methods or content provided by third parties. We do not control third-party websites, and their own terms, privacy policies and security practices apply. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse all content or services on the external website.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, delivery delay or product use where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable or was caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Information on the website is general in nature. You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your intended location, activity and conditions, and for following manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements.
Privacy and security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information. Our Security Policy provides information about online security and reporting suspicious activity.
Changes
We may update these terms as our products, services, systems or legal obligations change. Updated terms apply from the effective date shown on this page and do not retrospectively change an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applying in the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia. Courts with jurisdiction may hear disputes, subject to any rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable law.
If you have a concern about an order or these terms, please contact us first and give us an opportunity to assist.
